These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mati, the internal AI assistant operated by Chabad at Duke — The Fleishman House. By using Mati, you agree to these Terms.
Mati is an internal AI assistant used by Chabad at Duke — The Fleishman House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 81-3815268) based in Durham, North Carolina, to support the organization's operations. Mati is not a public-facing service.
You may use Mati only if you are:
You agree to provide accurate information when prompted, use Mati only for purposes consistent with Chabad at Duke's mission, maintain credential confidentiality, and not share access with unauthorized persons.
Mati provides reasoning, drafting, lookup, and coordination capabilities across the systems Chabad at Duke uses for its operations. Mati's outputs are intended as decision support, not as final or authoritative statements. You are responsible for reviewing Mati's outputs before relying on them.
Mati makes best efforts to provide accurate information based on the data sources it accesses. However, Mati may produce errors, hallucinations, or out-of-date information. Mati's outputs are not legal, tax, financial, medical, or professional advice and should be reviewed by a human before being relied upon for any consequential decision.
Mati is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any particular response time.
Mati is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chabad at Duke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Mati. Our total cumulative liability arising from your use of Mati shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
We may suspend or terminate your access to Mati at any time. You may terminate your use of Mati at any time and should also revoke any OAuth authorizations granted to Mati at the granting service's account settings.
Information you share with Mati and information Mati shares with you in the course of your authorized use is confidential.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Durham County, North Carolina.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chabad at Duke regarding your use of Mati.
